HELLO,

My name is Frank Fu and I graduated from Rice University in 2021 with a BA in Sport Management and Visual and Dramatic Arts.

Seeking entry-level opportunities in the sports and entertainment industries, I possess previous internship experiences in Olympics sports, professional football, American football agency work as well as NCAA Division I college sports.

Having interned with Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Planning Committee, my main duty with the committee was to translate, prepare and assemble all documents from the ice hockey working group for the Director of Event Management to view. Aside from assisting the remote site visits of expert groups from the International Olympics Committee, I put together training lessons for the internal referee training program and created a promotion video highlighting the progression of the program as well.

At Houston Dynamo, a Major League Soccer club, I served as a business intelligence intern, where I completed consultative studies of per diem and additional policies using data analytics to drive decisions and presented conclusions to team vice president. Meanwhile, as I closely worked with the sales department, I identified various factors that determine game day attendance using data analytics to provide insights for ticket sales and assisted with the operation of Customer Relationship Management.

During my internship with Select Sports Group, who ranked 7th on Forbes’ top American football agency’s list in 2020, I worked as a marketing and client services intern and established partnerships with various world-renowned fashion and sports performance brands to gift their products to clients and develop clients' personal brands through online endorsement of products. At this role, I also conducted sponsorship research and assembled daily news clips of all clients for the entire organization to view.

At my most recent post as a photography intern with Rice University Athletics, not only was I responsible for producing photographs for various Division I sporting events which regularly produced over 100,000 impressions each per game, but I operated Rice Baseball’s Twitter account to engage fans and ensure sponsorship fulfillment as well.

Apart from the aforementioned internship experiences, I speak both English and Chinese at bilingual proficiency and Spanish at limited working proficiency. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe photoshop and am thoroughly educated in the operation of camera equipments. I always have a burning desire to improve myself through constant learning as well as to aid in others’ successes. Should you deem my experiences as valuable, I would greatly appreciate a personal interview to further discuss my qualifications.
